Built from a
Life with dogs

Turd Herder started from something simple: I know dogs, I know dog people, and I know how quickly a yard can get away from you.
Before starting this business, I spent years as a professional dog show handler – caring for dogs, traveling with them all over the country, conditioning them, and learning how much the little details matter. Clean spaces, routines, safety, and consistency are all part of good dog care.
After years on the road, I reached a point where I had to be honest with myself. I loved the dogs, the work, and the people, but being gone all the time with young kids at home started to feel harder to justify. I wanted to build something closer to home that still came from the same world I’ve always cared about: dogs, good people, honest work, and doing things the right way.
That mindset is what Turd Herder is built on. Show up, pay attention to the details, do the job right, and treat people’s dogs and property with respect.
Dog waste cleanup may not be glamorous, but it makes a real difference. Dogs, kids, adults – everyone knows that awful moment when someone comes inside and you realize the mess came with them. A cleaner yard means fewer surprises, fewer headaches, and one less thing to worry about!
At the end of the day, Turd Herder is about dependable service, real dog experience, and helping dog owners take one more messy job off their plate.
